WHO is 18 years old

15th November 1997 is the first date I have definitive proof that the site existed. A number of name changes and many designs since, and no doubt a load of people have come and gone over that time.
For my own amusement really I gathered screenshots of the bits I have stored of the site's early days, and the intervening years and designs, if anyone's interested.

Although I haven't been involved in the running of the site for many years now, I take some pride that it's still a place on the internet where a bunch of people mingle. Best wishes.

Been reading this site for 18 years, I believe.
Not entirely sure why but i have. I look at it as frequently as the news sites.
Seen many comings and goings.
I once fell over and knocked myself out in the garden whilst reading it in a drunken stupor.
It has been a companion many a times
Happy 18th and thanks to those who make it appear and whose words i have read down the years.
The times spent reading it will surely be a significant portion of my lucid and drunken minds eye

HA, I Remember Tynan , he wasn't a wannabe hardman as someone suggested, i dont know what he was , other than a bit of a character.
people like tynan was pre WHO Clique, there was room for more characters back then , he got cunted off of course , but it seemed a little bit more light hearted.
There's a strong chance im remembering this alittle bit more fondly than it actually was.
i Remember going on a WHO drink back in 2003ish , there use to be a poster called tipsy Mcstagger on here , turned upto the drink with a fresh black eye from Wolves away , he was introduced to me as the next generation of firm at the time , seemed a nice bloke from the ten seconds we spent in each others company.
I also met the man the legend Bill Gardner that night , he was plonked over in the corner , he was carrying walking sticks ,so he might have been quite ill at tghe time ,but he definitely had an Aura about him , that you could imagine that back in the day he was all that people said about him.

What I find shocking about the earlier years were the disproportionately large number of football related threads, good to see the site has evolved

I think I joined back in 98-99 too, but became a regular poster in 2000.
I think I may have had a hand in Zoltan's meltdown, and Gank's involvement was legendary. Yes, the heron episode was his magnum opus, but I thought his work on the supermodel shagger was his best.
